The Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program is a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization dedicated to providing shelter, care and rehabilitation to the unwanted, neglected and abandoned horses of New Mexico. It is dependent on the support of individuals and corporations who give both time and funds to support its mission. With almost 50 rehab horses, our need for your help has never been greater. We must raise a minimum of $75,000 in 2015 just to cover basic needs like feed, shoeing and basic veterinary care. Additional funds are needed to expand our facility with more individual horse pens and a shade structure.
When you donate to the Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program, 100% of your donation goes directly to helping the horses. Only a volunteer-driven organization with almost no management or overhead costs can offer this.
